How to submit your paper?

For authors wish to submit the contents presented in the 5th Animal Sonar Symposium, two steps procedure is required.

Step 1. Submit your paper to The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America (JASA). Please assign Dr. Whitlow Au or Dr. James Simmons as an associate editor. In the cover letter, state your paper is for the special sections of the 5th Animal Sonar Symposium. January 1st in 2010 is the tentative due date. Later submission after this date will be received as long as the special sections of JASA continue (see the flowchart below). Both review and original papers are welcomed. All of the papers are peer reviewed. Only qualified papers will be published in the special sections..

Step 2. Forward JASA manuscript number (example; JASA: MS #10-01234) and the merged pdf file to Tom Akamatsu and Ikuo Matsuo (email address is in the figure below) to identify the paper is for the special sections. The merged pdf file includes text, figures and tables will be created by the JASA online system when you submit the paper. The list of the submitted papers will be shared among the scientific committee of the 5th Animal Sonar Symposium.

It is ok to choose any other suitable journals for your publications. Please let us (Tom & Ikuo) know the citation information when it is published. The special section of JASA will include the reference lists. Any further details will be updated in this web page.
